Quote from my Blog post: "I just don't understand it I used to LOVE playing monster hunter Freedom on my psp When I had it but like most people in the US with the culture here people grow out of the psp and if a game is not availible for another console or the PC the wont be able to play it anymore. I really do think that is Capcon just realeased a PC version of Monster Hunter Or even a Xbox 360 version in the USA they would do great selling it. The reason Monster hunter doesn't sell really well in USA is because its on the psp and most ppl I know that have a Psp are under 16 years old. The culture in america with handhelds is different that in Japan. Monster Hunter is a Great game and Infact monster hunter freedom was the best game I've ever played. But Being 23 years old now I don't really want to walk around with a psp playing it and even If I did none of my friends have one we are all to old for psp's now. I don't get why they just don't release a US version on the Pc i makes me so frustrated."

Hmm...I'm a 26 yr old professional and I have no problem taking my PSP just about wherever I go. I'd say that whether or not you've outgrown it depends on the type of games you play on it. If you haven't outgrown MH (which I belive is impossible) I don't see any reason to not play it on the PSP. Of course I'd rather play it on a console (HD console preferrably), but for now I'll get my MH fix wherever it's available. |

If you are truly seeking this kind of online play, I suggest you pick up the new Phantasty Star Universe. Monster Hunter has some vauge similarities to the Phantasty Online play structure. I know it isn't the real deal, but it is an alternative. |
