Rockman & Forte was possibly the more gorgeous-looking game to bless the SNES before it eventually went the way of the dodo. Unfortunately, most "westerners" never had a chance to play it, due to its only western release being on the GBA, with inferior visuals and audio. Personally, I think it'd be a great title as-is (though English text would be a big plus). But in all honesty, if you made the sprites a bit more crisp, added some additional content, and maybe a few unlockable costumes or weapons, I see no reason you couldn't release it as a WiiWare original "remix". Almost everyone I know loved Mega Man 9, and given MM&B's smooth visuals, I'm willing to bet a little extra polish would really make this game shine. Do it. ^_^ |

For the most part, it is up to Nintendo as to what hits the Virtual Console and what doesn't. If they don't make the 'First Move', then it doesn't happen.

The real question is if they would even do it since the game is more or less available on the Gameboy Advance. It would be great to have it on the VC though. It would actually add to my slowly growing list of reasons to pick up a Wii...which so far includes
-Gives me games I can play with my girlfriend -Has Mario Kart -Has Tatsunoko vs. Capcom

Well, a GBA version didn't stop Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario Bros. 2-World, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past from appearing on Virtual Console, so at least we have that knowledge. --LBD "Nytetrayn" |

Well, two things. Firstly, that's sort of the reason I suggested a "Remix" version for WiiWare. VC releases tend to get overlooked, where as a WiiWare release tends to get a lot more attention. Think of it like "Mega Man & Bass HD Remix", without having to be HD necessarily. Just add some content, improve on the game that's already there (Widescreen support, in particular), and you've basically got yourself a killer app. Secondly, that picture you have is awesome. Kudos ;) |

Thanks.
And if it be a remix, then they would be better remixing RockMan and Bass: Challenger From the Future. The second title in MegaMan and Bass. I could see that one being reproduced... But not MegaMan and Bass. With being Super Famicom then Gameboy Advance.

The GBA version didn't apply since they had the console version. I don't think the VC versions of those retain any of the GBA content. If any exists. As far as Zelda, I don't think it had Four Swords...

It would be the SNES version of Japan. Cause Nintendo is cool like that. It would be like Sin and Punishment being released. |
