Capcom makes a lot of AAA titles, most of their games are at least above average.  American licensed games tend to wind up in the hands of inept developers with a few exceptions(Batman).  To date we haven't got a great Spiderman, Simpsons, Family Guy, X-Men, etc...  Batman Arkham Asylum as of today has sold over 2.5 million titles.  The moral of the story is classic American franchises with quality developers = win win win.  Even the mediocre Ghostbusters has a million plus sales.  May the force be with you.
