Thanks a lot for Super Street Fighter 4. I hope a lot of work will be put into this especially online. I will guess lobbies will be added but hopefully we will have a much better netcode like GGPO or Blazblue. It's the only reason I would buy a TE stick so I could actually compete online seriously. A Tournament mode would also be great like hd remix. If capcom truly listens to fans' feedback then this features will appear. Please Capcom USA do everything you can to convince Capcom Japan to implent a strong netcdoe.

I have many fighting games and sf4 is my favourite so it's a shame I can't play that smoothly online with my favourite game. It's what North America and Europe care for a lot and we would provide a bigger profit than Japan ever could, so please do everything in your power to ensure a really great multiplayer experience to this timeless game. It's worth it.

Also, thank you for not releasing it full price, that shows that you're not milking it and that you care. Thanks a lot from a lot of fans. We do appreciate it.

why?? It's not like it will be charged full price. Capcom made the best decision here. Plus with 2 ultras and rebalanced characters, the game is just too different to SF4 so it needs to be on a disc. I will play both games though since they offer different experiences.

I hope this time they don't give the xbox 360 an awesome exclusive feature and leave the ps3 hanging like last time. I'm really hoping they add a lot of features for this sequel, especially for multiplayer. I will have faith in capcom, afterall they need to add these things if they want people buying the update.

Edit: Capcom please oh please do not lock the save file for super street fighter 4 on ps3. If you want just lock it to the psn id like most other games but please don't make the same mistake twice. People play street fighter for a very long time so to lose all that data because you can't back up is just a tragedy. I want to buy a ps3 slim and not have to worry about it, please make sure you do something about this, it shouldn't take that much effort since it's a new title.

Thank you very much

I'd wait with such declarations until after they've announced a price. Capcom does have a tendency of milking their customers.

Complete games are distributed entirely digitally these days, even on consoles - there's no technical reason anything needs to be on a disc these days.

Vanilla versions of previous SF games having multiple iterations aren't played all that much, either. I don't really see things being any different here. Quite the contrary, the superior netcode alone should be reason enough to completely abandon the original SF4 (unless they patch it, which I doubt).

Not everyone has access to the internet so a disc is necessary to enjoy the game. Also, no iteration of a street fighter game has had this many changes so I actually think playing both is worth it. I don't think you understand that making little gameplay tweaks changes the whole game and ssf4 has a lot of gameplay tweaks.

I wouldn't be suprised if they start representing both games at evo from now on. Sure most will probably focus on the sequel, but I think ssf will still remain very much alive even after.

It's not as if the game's being offered as a DLC for those who do have access to the internet, either.

It seems to me that what they're basically doing is fixing what was wrong with SF4, effectively superceding the previous one.

Doubt it, especially considering that the online community isn't all that large to begin with (at least on PC and PS3, as far as I know).

We'll know for sure in 6 months, anyway.

I don't know. Everyone is complaining about getting an update and having to drive to the store to pick it up. It would cost the same to d/l it. Makes no sense to me.

Love? I don't know about that. It's becoming habit from Capcom to release an update version of a game: Lost Planet -> Lost Planet Colonies, Street Fighter 4 -> Super Street Fighter 4. Maybe we should hold off buying new releases to see if an updated version will come out??
