Yeah, I also had to post just to express my desire for a PC-version of Super SFIV.. I don't care if it's a few weeks or months late, and how much it costs. I'll buy it like I bought every other SF-game ever, like the fanboy I am...I remember buying Super SF2 for SNES in the 90's, which was also "super" expensive because it was imported from the US (I had a PAL-system x)

- OK, I admit. Capcom would take half-troubles if they make a more complete, crystal clear announcement instead of a stupid and vague tease. Oh boy, a lot of despair and cronic pain because there'll not be a PC version of SSF4. Could you see something worst than that, huh? HUH? ^_^;;

Actually, I believe the PC version was ported from the 360 version. Some 360 button references remain, and it would be eaiser then arcade since arcade did not have online / console characters / challenges etc.

That isn't because it is a port of the XBOX 360 version. That is because the XBOX 360 controller is the official standard controller for the PC. Both platforms also share the Live online gaming environment. What I mean by lead platform is that the original game was developed entirely on a Windows PC. The Taito Type X boards are all PCs themselves.

The game engine is the same, but I am not sure if Capcom is going off of the same code or if this is being built from the ground up on the consoles first. The XBOX 360 itself uses a Radeon like card (ATI developed it) but has a PowerPC arcitechture. That would pretty much give Capcom an excuse about not wanting to spend extra money to port the game to the PC.

We shall see though. I believe everyone should take the destructoid "STFU" approach until a more detailed announcement is made. All else will be speculation, including my own concerns about lead platforms and porting.

Capcom, please do it like you did with the Lost Planet Colonies with cross-platform.  That would be amazing.

Street Fighter IV is currently the only pc game i'm playing. I'd be glad to be able to play Super Street Fighter IV on my PC. I don't want to buy a ps360.
