It's gonna be released as DLC and disk based. This is capcom man.
And Enetirnel. I totally agree with the green filter, that was so annoying. I want it gone.
And I would really like to at least have the ability to play the game completely alone for at least one part. Do any of the mods think this is a possibility? |

Honestly being completely alone would not work. That would mean everytime you are playing online with a friend, the game would end halfway through and you'd have to find a new partner after the solo section was over. Kinda dumb in my opinion.
Of course, they can keep the game going somehow, but what if you finish your 'solo section' before your partner does? That would mean sitting there waiting on them.
Honestly just not a good idea and would be too much trouble. |

Not essentially, the initial section of the new chapter (which I assume would be at the start to further explain events within the game itself) could give you options. Solo - to do it without a partner, say you're playing as Chris - and you have Jill following you, there could be something at a point that splits you up or even the Solo segment could start cued to be solo itself - no AI or offline/online partner. If the partner was too slow, then a time limit could be implemented OR if ONE person from it finishes their section and the other is still going, there could be some backtracking or another event cued (say, as we saw in RE: Gun Survivor 2 - CODE: Veronica if the player stayed within an area for too long a timed event would bring an invincible Nemesis Tyrant to force the player to hurry up and continue on). That idea could bring the sections back together or to speed up the other player - for example, if Chris finishes his segment and the Jill player hasn't... then let's say we hear Spencer or something, Chris radios Jill and says he's going to go back and investigate, Jill says she hasn't found what she was looking for yet, Chris tells her to keep looking, backtracks and encounters whatever enemies or traps are within the estate but at the time Chris may not be able to defeat them, he contacts Jill and is basically flagged to be in danger, a time limit is given for that solo section to be completed before you can say... get a crank to move a gate up, and save Chris. They could easily cue a small event that uses the audio that they've already recorded for the characters, map a spawn point and a time trigger for that idea. |

I think that is a really good idea Enetirnel.
I hope a mod respondes to this with an answer soon. |

The content will also be available for the 360. Also with regard to the Solo question. Its highly likley that there will be areas where Chris and Jill are seperated. This happened in RE5 proper several times, but both will be playing at the same time just like Sheva and Chris.
Now Playing: Halo 3: ODST, Halo 3, Need for Speed Shift, Call of Duty 4, Battle Stations Pacific.

What did feel very much shoe-horned in was the black special ops guy Josh being the one who flew the chopper at the end. He seemed like he was originally meant to turn on the protagonists at one point and the game suggests this very thing. When Josh drops them off the boat inside the cavern, he turns around and makes a deceitful face, like he's got something planned. This is typical foreshadowing of something bad's gonna happen later on where he turns on the player for whatever reason, it didn't happen. It's like Capcom changed their mind or something at the last minute, but left the scene and close-up expression in. Perhaps they could've made Jill be the one flying the chopper or better yet, Hunk. Notice how Josh has no other lines in the game after he drops them off the boat. |

Well that's cool. Hopefully it will be longer than 30 seconds though. I think the longest seperation in RE5 was with the lickers, and that was still in the same room really. And that was also my favorite part of the game. I liked all the solo parts. Makes it feel scarier. Hopefully AE has some longer ones.
I didn't really. Because Wesker was the enemy of Chris and Jill. Wesker also tried to kill Jill in the mansion too, and then enslaved her against her will and forced her to do Evil for 3 whole years, and did experiments on her body and all such things. Wesker did nothing personelly to Sheva at all. She didn't even know who he is. It was Umbrella that killed Sheva's parents. Wesker is not Umbrella. I think it was probably one of the most annoying plot elements in RE5, especially considering what Wesker did to Jill, I would of thought the obvious thing to do was to let Jill get her revenge in the end and kill him herself. But no some random chick out of no where kills him. Sorry, but that plot point really gets under my skin. But yes I agree about Josh too.

Not Chris, the one he's had a sereis long fued with, not Jill, the one he enslaved for three years. But Sheva, who he just met 5 minutes prior.I think the only reason for it was to make Sheva look somewhat important, when she really isn't. It's almost like what Anderson does with Alice in the RE films with making her look better than everyone else. It's disgusting and needs a retcon.
