There's already a thread for SSF4 PC, but I didn't want to make it even more of a cluttered mess by discussing RE5: AE in it. So why is there no announcement for it on PC? I know Capcom is famous for denying PC versions until 6 months later, but COME ON. You released the trailer for the new content not even two weeks after launching the PC version. I paid $50 on launch day only to hear a week later that a better version was coming out. Horrible, horrible move. So please, Capcom. Announce SOMETHING? |

I cancelled my pre-order of RE5 PC since the shop I ordered it from did not dispatch it to me, even days after release. I was going to get it from somewhere else, but then rumors of AE began to float around, followed shortly by the announcement - and now, I don't know what to do. If I buy it at long last, will Capcom release additional content for PC users via download? Or do they have plans for a "gold" edition? If it's the latter, I'd rather wait, if it's the former, I can buy it ASAP. So please don't leave us in the dark Capcom, I want to know as your (future) customer. |

I feel really bad for the PC gaming community. I can't help but feel they are held to a double standard that the usual gaming community is, and usually is treated as less important than the console gamers. If it weren't for all the issues of PC gaming now days, I would probably actually use my gaming laptop for its intended purpose. But for now, I stick with my consoles.

Reallly, no matter when they release it.. someone would be "Grrr, I just bought it" Any how, Pc titles take work. There is just so many differnt types of PC's and hardware...it takes time.

Yes, it takes more time to develop, but that in no way keeps them from saying that it WILL come to PC. The fact that I purchased it just 2 weeks ago isn't that relevant, but the fact that Capcom launched the product a week before announcing this is a big deal. It's like them releasing the Versus DLC right away after the console versions came out. Except this is much, much more substantial content. |

Ok, lets say they put several months into it, then find out requiemnts are to high and amount of people who can play it is to small. But if they go path you say. Now there stuck in stone releaseing it..even thou they could lose money on it. Thats why its never announced, Budgets might not be there, fan base, hardware issues. Its better to not annoucne something intill there sure they can do it.

That makes absolutely no sense. It would use the same exact version of the MT Framework Engine -1.5 that Resident Evil 5 does. Which was just released on PC. |

Basically the potiental buyer factor is likely a major issue. I'm gonna guess the sales of the PC version of RE5 will determine if this will happen.
