First off I want to thank everyone inside Capcom who has worked on this game. You should know that you have done a darn good job and have made this game one of the Nintendo Wii's premier games. The new content you have added is spectacular and even being able to enjoy this game in the first place is enough for me.

Myself and others are a little perplexed by a dilemma. You see with the recent unveiling of Joe The Condor and Zero, IGN had stated that these were the final fighters for both the Capcom and Tatsunoko side of the roster. When you add the total amount of characters it comes to 25. Problem is is that the ESRB has stated that there are 26 playable characters. This is puzzling since the Capcom Unity blog post seemed to confirm this fact, making it unlikely that this was simply an error on IGN's part. 

My intention is not to delve into rumors or to ask who said character is (if there were one) but simply to ask for an answer on why the numbers are not matching up. Does Capcom in fact have one last secret for us? Is that last character the official replacement for Hakushon Daimou? Or was there a goof up in the ESRB? If Seth or anyone could clear this up I think everyone could rest a bit easier. :)

Yeah, to be honest though, I really like the way he worded his post. So I don't feel like closing it.

I mean, this one is more likely to get a response because it doesn't ask for much & doesn't mention anything Capcom probably isn't comfortable adressing.

Although I'm perfectly happy about 4 new characters whether a 5th exists or not, the ESRB stating 26 characters compared to the actual confirmed 25 is nothing to shrug off into the "rumor/leak" category.

Hopefully an answer of some sort will be given soon, although some may view IGN (and I think Capcom-Unity?) stating the recent reveal to be the "final two" as being just that.

Regardless, can't wait for the game.

Well Dhylec, we know Sven asked this before a certain bit of info (true or not) was accidentally released. I think it's best not to discuss that piece of information in this thread in hopes to get an answer.

That type of thing is a double edged sword. I mean, it got us hyped & we haven't stopped talking about TvC since, but at the same time, we are getting word that what we heard wasn't 100% what we thought it was & now a few of us are asking "What's the deal" like Capcom has lied to us or owes us an explanation.

In any case, you can't really expect Capcom to address the things you've "heard." So it's best to just ignore rumors & bring up things that make this question easier to answer. The ESRB listing, for example.

That's just my two cents. You guys do what you want though.
