Wouldn't a retail release of this simply be like the one for MvC2, where the case simply contained a code for you to DL the game for free?

I never quite understood those..

- Indeed. What's the difference after all?

I can understand if you got something collectable with it like a keychain, but otherwise I suppose it avoids you from using a debit card or a PSN card(i'm not sure why anyone would have issues with PSN cards).

I would be very happy to see some of the original blue bomber on the DS. I really have no interest in shooting star of ZX or battle network. I dont digg my megaman overly complicated. Megaman Zero 1-4 is about as complex as I like it. So it would be wonderful if Megaman 9 or a collection of older Megaman gameboy/Advance/NES titles made it to the DS or *coughPSPcough*

But I would say since the PSP has Maverick Hunter and Powered up the DS really needs some classic Megaman love.

Capcom, I beg of you, could you at least produce NES carts of Megaman 9 for nostalgic MM fans like me?

I do know that making MM9 an 8-bit game was a risky move, but it was very successful.

I mean, please. I'm begging on my knees here. In fact, I'm actually on my knees while I am typing this, no joke.

Since I can't play MM9, the only thing that I could do is watch gameplay videos, screenshots and such, thinking about how much of a privilege people got to even play the game.

I'll settle for a playable NES cart version of it, even if you won't do a retail console version of the game.

I know that producing brand-new playable NES carts for Megaman 9 would be very expensive, but I am willing to pay good money to help you recuperate the costs. Heck, I'm prepared to pay 100$ for a copy, if I have to!

Just make this poor soul's dream come true. Please.

I agree i would love to fire up my nes again (considering it was the only console i had until 2002).

like what i have been arguing about on MvC2 it would be better to have a hardcopy, something you can feel, not some abstract thing floating around, for what will happen after this game gen is over. It will sink unto oblivion and you would find you would have been better with a hard copy.

That, or it will end up on the next compilation game (whenever THAT comes out, I have no clue Frown).
