An even better idea might be a "Capcom Fighter Collection" game up on PSN/XBox Live Arcade. I say it could work. |

I think that a PS2 backwards compatibility (along with PS2 games on the PSN) is inevitable. It's more of a timing issue at this point; meaning I think that Sony pretty much has something developed. In regards to a "collection", my ideal collection would be a physical copy (i.e. not download) of arcade-perfect versions of X-Men Vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Vs. Capcom 1, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, Capcom Vs. SNK PRO, Capcom Vs. SNK 2, and SVC Chaos: SNK Vs. Capcom. I would call it like "Ultimate VS Collection" and retail it for $60. Either that, or they should just release each of those listed games 1 by 1 to the PSN and Xbox Live Arcade, and then do sequels for each of those games as physical games. So like Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Capcom Vs. SNK 3, and SVC Chaos 2. * Yes. I am aware that SVC Chaos is an SNK developed title, but they might as well go through with it all considering that both Capcom, SNK, and (now) Disney are involved or have properties to those games/series. |
