Well, this is in regards to a Mega Man Zero (the series) compiled to 1 DS cartrdige. Since it was on the GBA, and it's rare now a days and there are fans out there who have not been able to get them (not to mention that the games are super rare on places like Amazon and eBay...often at very  high prices & some of them being fakes), I think it'd be a great thing for Capcom (and Inticreates) to collaborate on a DS compilation of Mega Man Zero 1, 2, 3, and 4 for the DS.

Changes?

They should definitely change up the buttons so that it uses all 4 "face" buttons. Make Y the main weapon, X the sub weapon, B the jump button, and A the dash button. Of course, they should also include the option to change it to however we want.

The top screen would display the gameplay and whatever is going on, and the bottom screen would display the menu if you press start and otherwise it'd display like a map of the stage showing where items and whatnot are located.

Graphics could be left alone. They were excellent on the GBA. I guess if they wanted to, they could touch up some things here and there to make it on the same level as the Mega Man ZX games.

Gameplay should be tweaked so that there is an Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulty. I actually have all 4 of the Mega Man Zero games (North American version) and I did beat through them all. I will say that I honestly had a much harder time with them than the Mega Man X games. I guess maybe it was partially due to the different control scheme, but overall, the games were more challenging. I think that it was a great change, but sometimes I wished that maybe it wasn't so brutal.

I think that the leveling up weapons idea was pretty cool, but maybe they could tweak it so that you wouldn't have to use it as many times just to level it up, and to stand a chance against the enemy.

Judging by what Square-Enix was able to cram into 1 DS cartridge with Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (my current obsession on the DS), I would say that Mega Man Zero 1 ~ 4 would definitely fit on 1 DS cartridge.

I'd love to have more MM on the DS, but we have a lot of collections out there right now.  Mostly, however, our development schedule is just full at the moment, though this seems like a pretty decent idea...

best,

Ask me about my beard.  Or don't.  It's cool either way.

Thanks for taking your time to reply. I realize that Capcom has their hands full right now, but the development would probably be handled by IntiCreates and like QA'd by Capcom staff.

And since it's mainly a compilation (with minor tweaks/updates here and there), I would suspect that the time and resources required would be relatively small compared to uh...hm...Super Street Fighter IV or Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom...
