What are the chances capcom that you will release this version of Resident Evil 5 The chances are probably slim to none but it would be SSSOOO nice if this version actually came out |

I would say near zero chance. What was released was the product.

All of that is just concept artwork anyway. We don't know if they ever had a prototype with any of those concepts actually implemented into the game. The strategy guide has some screenshots of the game very early in development (early 2007 probably), and the general direction seems to be exactly the same as the final version. |

The same chance we'll get the version of RE4 where you're possessed by an evil mist.
Sooner or later someone gets an early build of the games, maybe something like that exists for RE5, or someone will find old code inside RE5 PC or something, but yeah... unlikely.
