I'am talking about Lost Planet 2 here now www.capcom-unity.com/ask_capcom/go/threa... Stop doing idiots from PC gamers, many many game websites wrote that Lost Planet 2 was announced on the PC, you were showing PC version img197.imageshack.us/i/lostplanet2pcs.jp... so please stop telling ******** like: SORRY PAL NO PC PLANNED Everybody know that sooner or latter PC version will come, it will be an CRAZY FOOLISHNESS to not release someting what is already done. ;-)
If you want to sell some decent number of Lost Planet 2 on the PC in the future, stop playing around and doing morrons from your fans PLEASE :) .
When do you want to announce the game for the platform? When just nobody will care about it? If this is what you call quality advertisement YOU FAIL.

and your point is? mostly the reason is because the company want to sell the game on the ps3/360 first before they make it for PC... it you know it going to come out for PC later, then wait for it... if u can't wait then get the ps3/360 or even wii for that matter...it you have money for pc that can play game, you certantly have enought money to buy one of the console ... |

XD I got lost in the OP's poor English.
Remember how this is the Ask Capcom forums, not the "lets give advice and ideas to capcom but not actually ask any real questions" forums?

The point is that treating your PC userbase like idiots isn't necessarily a winning move if you actually want to sell games to them. So... why do it? I'm sure someone, somewhere thought this'd be a good idea, I just don't really see the reasoning behind it. Other than MS/Sony paying for limited time exclusivity, anyway.
Doesn't mean you would want to. And console gaming isn't necessarily cheaper, either. Especially not in the long run. Console hardware and software isn't as cheap all around the world as in the US, for example. |

I think his problem is with how they advertise the crap out of the console ports, constantly denying a PC release. Everyone gets extremely hyped for the console release and then it sells like hotcakes after months/years of anticipation. PC version gets announced after console ports ship and very close to the PC release date, everyone has already bought a copy for their console of choice so they just shrug it off. Then Capcom sees low-ish sales and either blames it on piracy or figure that the PC market is shrinking (just guessing here, don't get offended or anything bros) when really it's because they didn't have as much time to build hype for the game and advertise it sufficiently. If the PC release were announced side by side with the console ports, even if the PC port took an extra 6 months or so to come out, people would be able to make informed decisions on whether or not they wanted to wait and pickup the PC version. Another problem is how they've been treating PC gamers lately in regards to super/alternate editions. Not one week after RE5 'regular edition' was released on PC, they announce a new console exclusive alternate edition with new content. Same thing happened with Street Fighter 4, but that blow was a bit softer since they didn't announce Super a week after SF4 PC came out. They still haven't said boo about a PC release of Super. |
