Is Capcom going to create Devil May cry 5?

Well hello, I was wondering i've played trough Devil may cry 1,2,3 and 4 and all I can say is: these games are the best. But I'm sortof wondering if there will actually be a DMC5

Are you suggesting Bayonetta is Devil May Cry 5? Well...a few things wrong there.


1. Bayonetta is developed by Platinum Games nd produced by Sega.


2. Yes Hideki Kamiya (the guy behind Devil May Cry 1) is involved, but he's not with Capcom anymore to my understanding.


Basically, Capcom will probably make a Devil May Cry 5, but they're busy with other projects such as Super Street Fighter IV. I'm sure they got something planned for us DMC fans.

After playing the demo for SEGA/Platinum game's Bayonetta, personally I would much rather Capcom make a similar high-action adventure game in the same genre as that game and DMC, but starring Darkstalkers' Morrigan!! :)

I think it's pretty clear Capcom will release DMC5, since DMC4 had really good sales numbers.


When? I don't know, but I think now it's too soon. I think they will wait at least a couple of years.

Bayonetta looks sweet! CAPCOM is probably taking notes.


CAPCOM need to revamp DMC and get Dante out of Hell already. He's been stuck there for quit awhile now.
