this steam group steamcommunity.com/groups/STARSHQ never states that capcom created S.T.A.R.S. they use the logo, name, each letters meaning. even on their fourm page z10.invisionfree.com/STARS_HQ the dont state it. now dont you all think that is a false claim and should be sued?

well they do obtain money from those who seek power such as admin on their servers.

I am not a lawyer, and we are not interested in tracking down fans being fans, but a monetary exchange around such a use is definitely a problem. 

Imagine if you opened up a S.T.A.R.S. Raccoon City cafe--just because you said you were charging money for your delicious sandwiches, and not for the big S.T.A.R.S. sign outside, you are still in clear violation of Capcom's intellectual property.

Quite sad the lengths Capcom fans will go to suck up to Capcom and screw other legitimate fans over.

I was just assuming they did since D said they did and most clans on Steam charge money if you want to become admin on their server.

I thinks its more disappointing then sad.
