I am just wondering this if this is a microsoft issue or some kind of licensing issue. Since a good amount of people still play online. And I want to use my TE stick for! Unless there is some way I can make it work on my xbox.

Unfortunately, Microsoft does not support CvS2 on the 360.

You should take this issue up with them. I don't think it's because they refuse to support it, I just think they work on the most popular Xbox titles for backward compatibillity first.

Currently Playing: King of Fighters XII, Street Fighter IV, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Resident Evil 5

Coming Soon: Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, Super Street Fighter IV, Dead Rising 2, Lost Planet 2, Bayonetta, Dark Void, Monster Hunter Tri

Couldn't Capcom bring up the issue to Microsoft if they showed there was interest in the title?? It could make for a great game on XBox Live Marketplace and their XBox Originals channel.

I am afraid not it is down to MS all the original Backwards Compatible Games are based of original Unique Play Numbers if the number wasnt good enough in the Eyes of MS it is not supported and I think MS has even stopped doing updates on the BCG Program

AND NOOO!!!!! my name has nothing to do with Mega Man X or Maverick Hunter Zero -_-

Then how about bringing Capcom VS SNK 2 EO along with Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike and even Darkstalkers Chronicles all packaged into a single DD title with online versus play?? Gamers are HUNGRY for these fighting games and this is one easy way to do it.

What gets put up on Xbox Originals is also up to MS. I suggest emailing them & letting them know that the fans want these games.

As for digital re-releases of those titles you mentioned, there are threads here on Unity to show support for each of those. Show your support & Capcom may have a change of heart regarding those titles.

Thanks for the info. But I think if anniversary collection and kof2002/03 and neowave can be backward compatible I'm sure CVS2 could be. Come on MS capcom did you know wrong with all of the online enabled capcom fighters.

Simple Answer: Microsoft does not care about backwards compatability. Xbox 360 was not built with backwards compatability in mind.

I hear thr games that are in fact compatable, they sometimes don't even run correctly (look at Marvel vs. Capcom 2).

This ^.  I think your best bet would be if Microsoft re-released it as a downloadable title, similar to what they did with Alien Hominid (which also was not backwards compatible on 360).

Of course, you'd have to buy it again. (But it would have achievements, so I guess there's that).

Making it available as a digitally-distributed downloadable title could also mean better online vesus play with Capcom's newest (i.e. better) online code.
