I agree with you on this.

There should be no such thing as exclusivity. We all need to share.

How on earth are the Xbox 360 or PS3 "next-gen" consoles, as "next-gen" hasn't even arrived yet. The Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 are all current-gen consoles, regardless of graphics. And what is it that makes graphics such a must for games anyway?

The reason the games aren't coming to Xbox 360 or PS3 is because they are Nintendo exclusives. Why don't you just buy a Wii, it's not like the usual argument "I won't buy a Wii for 1 game!!!!1", it's 4 Resident Evil games, Monster Hunter 3, Tatsunoko vs Capcom and many more Capcom-Nintendo exclusives. Not to mention loads of other good games on the console, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Dead Space: Extraction and the Metroid Prime Trilogy being some of them. It's well worth the money.

And I'm with Super Rick on this one... I'm ashamed to own an Xbox 360 because of things like this...

As for "Spreading the Resident Evil love", remember how the Wii isn't getting RE5?

Nintendo has exclusive rights to those titles.

It's not likely you'll get those games on any other console.

If you're an RE fan, you'e going to buy a Wii, that's pretty much what it comes down too.

Me personally, the first console I bought from this gen was the Wii because I wanted to play Zelda. Then I hear Street fighter IV was coming out so I bought a 360 for it, not having a very good financial situation either. I just bit the bullet.

As gamers, you shouldn't buy whatever console you think is most powerful & then demand developers to make games for that console. You need to think about what games you like to play & buy whatever console allows you to play those games.

Leave the Wii gamers alone already, we deserve something special too. Normal PS3/360 Console owners get enough of the awesome stuff that most Wii-only owners will never see...so how is it fair to deny them something exclusive?

wow i love it when someone pics apart a small flaw in someone elses choice of words.  just because he or she says next gen, some people (usually the ones that are extremely opposed to the persons OPINION) love to rip into them.  its a common mistake to refer to the hd systems as next gen, one that many people make.  as for being ashamed of owning an xbox because of "gluttons", sell it then.  im sure you wont.  im sure SFIV, RE5, MvC2, SSF2THD and plenty of non-capcom games are enough of a reason to keep it....cough-gears of war-cough.  oh yeah this is coming from a ps3 owner that still acknowledges the fact that the xbox has some awesome games. 

as for the topic creator, i agree it would be kool to see these games on the hd consoles.  when the motion controls were announced i figured this could be done as long as they werent nintendo exclusives.  i especially could see this happening after what some of the third party developers stated in regards to the motion control announcements.  however, i would rather see a remake of re2 with classic controls in hd or another outbreak game.
