You may not have noticed this but a lot of Xbox 360 and PS3 fanboys hate the Wii for its motion controls. What makes you think enough people will buy Project Natal or the Sony Wand to compensate for releasing the Wii's On-Rails shooters on the Xbox 360 or PS3? Trust me: If that many people hate the Wii for its motion controls, that many people will not buy Natal or the Wand - thus making it not profitable enough to release the Wii titles on the other consoles with Natal and Wand capability. Not to mention that a lot of Xbox 360 and PS3 fanboys hate On-Rails shooters as a whole genre, they prefer the ability to explore in the games and take cheap shots at the Wii for housing so many On-Rails games.

i dont know what the general lot of ps360 users think but i would be one of those people. in my opinion nintendo hasnt released a great home console since the snes.  besides the motion controller for the ps3 seems to have better accuracy.  i would buy the motion controller and use it just for the on-rails shooters.  heck maybe dead space extraction might actually sell lol.

Ok, candidate to be closed before this becomes the next flame war thread.

Only last one thing: You want Darkside Chronicles, get a Wii. That's all!

It's called Wii Plus.

Anyway, you don't really account for the masses of Anti-Wii PS360 owners against buying a Wii because of the control scheme, do you?

And yes: If you want Umbrella Chronicles/Darkside Chronicles, buy a Wii. REmake and RE0 may be on the Gamecube but they're still Nintendo exclusives.

Fine.

But if you want to play Resident Evil 5, Dead Rising 2, Lost Planet 2, Super Street Fighter IV and every other HD game that'll no doubt come out in the next fe years (Onimusha 5, Devil May Cry 5, etc) you can't beg Capcom to port it to the Wii or even ask for a Wii version until Wii HD comes out. You buy either a 360 or a PS3 and play those games on that.

Deal??

ahhhh yes another accessory to buy for the wii.  as i stated before, i am not sure as to what the other ps360 owners think of the motion control idea.  i for one like them when they are accurate (yes i did own a wii at one point) for certain games such as on-rails shooters.  as for your last statement i own REmake and RE0 on the gamecube.....the only games for the gamecube i do own.  its not the fact that there are nintendo exclusives that bugs me.  i think it would be a great idea for the games to be ported, they may sell well on the other consoles too especially with re5 being on those same consoles.  what bugs me are the fanboy rants about how its ok for wiiowners to piss and moan about not getting every game the hd consoles get but the ps360 owners ask for the same and people, such as you, say they are wrong to do so.  porting down to the wii i would assume to be harder than porting up to the ps360.  im pretty sure ctyd proved this.

oh yeah, to feed into every negative stereotype of a ps360 owner, im not rebuying a wii for two capcom games....ok maybe three with tvc.  im especially not buying another extra accessory just to have better accuracy.  i would rather go to a friends house or borrow one.  it may be stubborn of us ps360 owners but wiiowners are just as stubborn.  would be kool if and when the wiihd is revealed.  perhaps then games could be made for all three systems.

Stu, you haven't proven that there ISN'T a high demand.

"Whose motorcycle is this?"
"It's a chopper, baby."
"Whose chopper is this?"
"It's Wesker's."
"Who's Wesker?"
"Wesker's dead, baby. Weskers's dead"

I don't think it matters - Capcom probably realised the mistake and adjusted the deal so that the main series was free to go multiplatform...at least those games that came after 3, not 0 which was set in the past and is arguably free to be something for the Cube/Wii owners to have as an exclusive, and REmake which is more of a key title that was primed to attract new people into buying the console.

The side games should remain relevent to the consoles they are on, and Darkside is perfectly fine where it is...
And since it's a Nintendo Resident evil alongside the REmake, it's staying where it is...I'm pretty confident we won't see it move to anything else at this point, because UC would have jumped ship first in a more prettified version by now as a tantalising taster.
