Is Capcom considering a Collectors Edition for Super SFIV?

I few people have been asking about it in the Super SFIV forum, and I wanted to know if Capcom is planning a release it with a regular edition or are you guys only going to release a regular editon?

I really hope so, plus if SSFIV is going to be 40 bucks, I wouldn't mind paying 60 dollars for the Collector's Edition, since it'll be my money's worth.

A fightpad like you did with the pc bundle or maybe another movie disc and an artbook. How about some dlc as well for free such as maybe extra bonus stages or if that tournament mode costs money then you can throw it in for free with the bundle.

I don't think we need any more fight pads or controllers, because everyone who wanted one already got one when SF4 was released.


"The Ties That Bind" movie was awesome in my view, but making another full length feature film would probably be too much to hope for in 6 months time.


Soundtracks are always welcome, artwork books, stages, costumes.  All great.


 


But, honestly, in my opinion, any additional time and money spent on Capcom's part toward a collectors addition would be better spent focused on the actual SSF4 game itself.  It sounds like they're already pressed for time as it is.


I'd gladly forgo a collector's edition if it meant that the supposed "8 additional characters, more or less" becomes "8 additional characters or more".


In other words, the extra money I'd be willing to pay for a collectors edition, is money I'd much rather spend to add extra characters to the game.  An extra $20 for Elena/Hugo/Alex/Makoto?  In a heart beat.

agree. I'm content with no collector's edition. I believe the focus should solely be on SSFIV as it is now.
