The title says it all. Assuming that the Ask Capcom video wasn't an early April Fool's joke, or a mistake, why wouldn't you? You localized the original trilogy on pretty much a whim, and I don't think Ace Attorney Investigations sold low enough to warrant this treatment.
I'm really hoping it was an early April Fool's joke because I don't believe "no, sorry about that" is sufficient. EDIT: Oh, and for whoever happens to enter this thread...please sign this petition if you already haven't: www.petitiononline.com/AAI2US/petition.h... It may not do anything, but I think anything helps at this point.

Yeah I'd like to know this as well. I was under the impression that the Ace Attorney games sold pretty well here in the US. It's like Capcom doesn't want my money.

I'm also wondering why. I enjoy this series immensely.

Also wondering why this is the case, and if no US release rules out Europe too. I always thought the series was popular outside of Japan, and I'd like to see them all get a release. Come on, guys. PW vs PL is the only reason I'm even going to buy a 3DS.

I created an account here at Capcom Unity solely for this reason. I love the Ace Attorney games and would be very upset to see AAI2 and PW VS PL go unlocalized. I bought a 3DS with that game in mind. You have a huge fanbase here, Capcom. Please don't do this to us. :(

You've done five ace attorney games so far, why stop now?

Please clear things up for me, as an Ace Attorney fan, I want the game too, and I am curious what was said in this video. Did they say something like "There are no plans to localize it" or did they say "It's not going to happen"? Because there is a big difference between those things.

Yes, I too demand to know the reason why AAI2 is not being localised. I'm extremely outraged by this (and having multiple login fail attempts and their account recovery form sucks doesn't help any either).

Apparently (haven't seen the video either), they were asked if a localization was in order and answered "Sorry, no."

Here is the mentioned video (minute 29:40): gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=155338 "The answer is no. Sorry about that" Really? thats all Capcom? We need a better explanation!
Localize this game! you are losing money!
