Ive been play SSFT HD remix since its release just about everyday,It is the best fighting game ever i think, it has the best netcode in a fighting game by far
Street Fighter should always be fast 2d Sprites, IV you should have named EX4 , its horrible game imo ,so slow the jumping is floaty and stupid, the fireball/projectiles look and feel so lame, crappy cutscene specials , just slow and clunky
Please Do another HD remix, mayby the alpha series (SFA3 max with Balrog etc)All the people i play HD remix with agree IV is lame
SFIII used that lame GGPO netcode what a step backwards compared to the one used in HD remix and MvC2

agreed. i love SSFIITHDR and SFIII 3rd Strike OE, but i'm not a big fan of IV for many of the reasons mentioned above, hdr or oe of one of the alpha games please. although i'm perfectly happy with ggpo, easily one of the best netcodes.

Alpha 3 is probably the better option especially if they bring in the Max upgrade from the PSP so you can take any customizations you made on characters online if you want to

HDR is never going to happen again since: a) The HD sprites cost too much and in the end, most of the core fans don't like them (most HDR tournaments are run with the old sprites, and people still complain about not being able to play with the old backgrounds). b) The questionable rebalancing of HDR killed the community as many preferred to stick to good old ST. P.S. You do realize that HDR uses a what is basically a clone of GGPO right?

Oh, man. I can't overstate what a tricky project HDR was. I'm happy with the outcome (critically, community wise, sales wise) but it was a really hard tightrope to walk and some points in development were really scary (like when we threw away about 2,500 frames of animation in various stages of completion because we weren't happy with them and started again). And the consumer expectation bar has moved considerably. The costs of doing a project like that today, with the attention to detail/features that SF3:Online Edition had, it would be difficult for sales forecasts to shoulder. That said, we'll see what the future holds. Creatively, I'd like to do more 2D stuff in the future like this.
