So now every platform except for the Wii has itCryseriously Capcom, we all know it's coming, can you just announce it already?

Can you just say "We are planning a wii version, but it's not for enough along in development to release anything about it."?

I really don't get why you can't just announce it now.

Wii need 3rd party support!!!

If it goes to the PC that shouldn't be a surprise.

A number of PS3/360 games being developed at the moment are being built on the PC and then ported over to the PS3/360, because that's currently the easiest way to develop multiplatform between the two, so if it's being built on the PC it presents no problem in putting the game on the PC. That's why games like SFIV are on the PC, because they were built on the PC, not the PS3/360 hardware.

If you build a game specifically for one platform, then later on decide to make it multiplatform (FFXIII, Force Unleashed, etc) it makes it really difficult and the game will be delayed by almost  a year as a result.

Well if they are being built on a pc environment why do they come out after the console release, like what's the point of waiting?

IMHO that long waiting is what really hurt sales, 'cause a lot of people will just go for the console option (if they have a console, which is very likely), instead of just waiting X amount of months for the game to be released on pc.

Graphical updates (dx10 support) could be patched into the game later if that's the reason for the delays.

I've got no news to share on such a project at this time. Sorry. Frown

One thing to note: Capcom is part of the PCGA and they have been very good to us PC gamers recently, so that keeps my hopes up.

I also hope that I can get it through digital distribution. I really hope the Capcom Japan guys get some sense knocked into their heads regarding DD.

Speaking of the PCGA, stay tuned for some of their announcements at Leipzig next week.
