Okay. I am not asking for a PS3 port. Or remake. I understand Capcom is a very busy company. And before I go into this post, let me say this. Yes I like Lost Planet. It was a fun game. But now for the qustions. But not so hot on DR: CTYD

1, Would it not have been faster to make LP:C edition rather than port the old one while making the new one?

2, With the vast number of enemies shown on screen for Heavenly Sword, Why no Dead Rising on PS3? Why the Wii? I have a Wii, but the thing that made DR so interesting to me was number of enemies. And with Sven's post about trying to get 100 enemies on screen it just makes me wonder.

Just wondering. That is all, do not flame.

Final note. I am not a PS3 fanboy. Don't have a 360 yet. But will have one for Fable. Only thing I hold against Capcom was not launching MH2 stateside and closing down MH's servers. I played that game right upto the end of the servers. Which, needless to say was a very sad day for me, and the rest of the Hokuten (My clan)

Just a quick note, but Capcom wasn't responsible for the servers going down - due to the lack of a PSN or Liveish online service, the American game servers were hosted by a third party company which eventually decided that they didn't want to host the servers anymore (in a nutshell).

I believe it was stated that while Capcom Japan had the capabilities and infrastructure needed to host the Japanese servers themselves, Capcom USA had neither and continues to have neither.

As for Dead Rising, it has been hinted that there are 'issues' preventing the game from coming to the PS3 or something of that nature, though I think that Sven denied it was a result of a deal with Microsoft.

News flash, the Japanese SUCK at coding. The majority of japanese develop games on the PS3 have that 5gig mandatory install. The majority of the West don't. Even SONY Japan can code. Hot Shot's Golf has a 5gig install, HOT SHOTS! lol!

i agree japanese developers have a "classic" style of programming which wont change until sony start selling more ps3's and the developers find the system more lucritive for exclusives

THIS.
If the PS3 had 360 WW numbers. Companys would of INVEST on it. Good example, The Dreamcast and the PS2. The PS2 was a pain compare to the DC.

The reason why we don't get to see a playstation 3 version of dead raising is, because that capcom hasn't really gotten to know the system well enough yet. They'd probably will do a dead raising in the future for the console or in development right now, and keeping it tight under development. Either way dead raising wii leave a good hint, and that hint is that this isn't the last that we see of dead raising. Hopefully one day the ps3 can see dead raising.
