1: Mattel released three PET models in the US. Japan continues this
trend, giving the PET a makeover every year since 2002 (now referred to
as 'Transers' and 'Star Carriers' of Star Force fame)


Mattel's MegaMan rights have been laying dormant for a while, I highly doubt they'll ever release future models.


2: Closests thing to a PET is the iPhone. As for AI that is sentient and capable of thought (such as a Net Navi), we're not even close.


3: Give it a few years.
