Would be great... But no one is going to buy RE5 in this case...
The best Classic RE + RE4 view + Wii controls = game of the gen...

I pray that this isn't a hoax.



I don't see how it could possibly hurt RE5 in anyway.


If the rumor is true it wouldn't be coming out till probably late 2009, well after RE5's release, not to mention RE5 isn't a Wii title so it's not like Wii owners would be buying RE2Wii over RE5Wii.

Well... I'm multi. I own a 360 and a Wii. I do speak for myself. I'd prefer a Resi 2 Remake over RE5. Not a "Remake" like the Zero Remake for Wii of course... In my opinion RE2 is the best Resident Evil till now, followed by RE4 Wii. So a Resi 2 Remake combined with RE4 Wii Gameplay would be heaven for me. The best Resident Evil of all times (IMHO) would be the result. So, no need for RE5... At least... for a long time... and it would perfectly fit to RE4 --> Leon + Ada + RE4 Wii Gameplay... Cool

I am one of the few actually thinking, that RE2 isn't that great. It's better than RE0 but it does not deserve a remake! The story is horrible and nowhere near compelling.Besides, I don't want another quick cash-in remake. Look at the DR:Ctyd disaster! It speaks volumes.
