You mean a DMC spin off series?

There's not much reason to for multiple reasons, one being that after all the complaints about DMC4 being too similar to previous games that there's a good chance that DMC5 will be different in someways and if that's the case there's less reason to do something different with a spin off, ie spin offs are where developers tend to do something different with the gameplay but if they're already going to be doing that with DMC5 there's much reason to do something different with a spin off if whatever you were going to do with the spin off could be incorporated into DMC5.

Also what aspect of DMC needs to be spun off into a different series? Nero? He'll probably a playable character in DMC5 just as he was in 4. At the moment I can't see any reason to spin DMC off into another series for gameplay or storyline reasons.
