So next year is Final Fight's/ Street Fighter 89's 20th anniversary. And yeah it'll only be 3 years since FFStreetwise, but there are a lot of fans that are hoping for something to spark the anniversary. Probable, improbable, or to soon to tell?

Too soon to tell anything, but it's not out of the question since Capcom US owns the rights to the Final Fight franchise and can make a remake whenever we want. In fact, maybe I'll go make one right now before I leave today... because I CAN!! 
Ask me about my beard. Or don't. It's cool either way.

I argee, it has been nearly 20 whole years since FF1, which i've also played, but i also think it's about time for a remake/reboot to the FF series. However, if that's not possible, will there be some kind of collection to the FF games, not counting Streetwise?

I remember when I was 9 or 10 years old ... first time I saw the Final Fight arcade ... it was in summer, I was in the beach. I was amazed with the "huge" sprites and "real" voices. I loved (and still love) that game. Please, give us a Readmed/SFHD-like version, or a brand new 2.5D sequel with SFIV art style! Please in 2D or in 2.5D!

Thanks everyone for your replies. And Seth, how long will it take? Heh. I do really hope that Capcom US gets on that. That would be sweet. An HD remake would be SWEET. The 3 things I want to see are: Final Fight 4 Final Fight Collection Final Fight HD Remix Of course it'll probably not be all next year, but at least one of them for the 20th anniversary would be amazing. Yurinka: I was only like 2-ish when it came out, but my forst experience was when I was 6 or 7ish. I too loved the large sprites. Which gave me the idea of a Guilty Gear/Blazblue sprite HD Remix. Seth: Your help really would be great!!!

It would be awesome a Final Fight Collection for PSP or XBLA/PSN including: Final Fight (arcade port, already released in other compilation) Final Fight CD Mighty Final Fight Final Fight 2 Final Fight 3 Final Fight Revenge Final Fight Streetwise Extras including remixed soundtracks, artworks and some interview / making of.

Been playing Castle Crashers with my wife an' bros for a few days now - beat 'em ups are so much fun! Would be awesome to get a brand spankin' new Final Fight. As for requests... how 'bout Chun-Li as a hidden playable character? 'Ey, a man can dream, can't he?
