Capcom Wii Team (all four of them)

Thank you for that. Your post made my morning.

Anyways, did anyone really expect better from Capcom at this point? The truth is very few companies take the time, effort and money to properly port a game to the Wii. Most are direct PS2 ports with motion controls tacked on.

The real question is why are companies STILL making PS2 games? And why is the PS2 always the lead SKU for the SD consoles?

i would say money, but do

i would say money, but do people really buy that many copies of the ps2 versions of new games to justify their creation? after all, when compared to the 360 and ps3 versions, the ps2 version tends to be lackluster

Improved controls shouldn't really be an excuse for doing a shoddy PS2 port. That's like saying, "Hey, look! We used the left analog stick on the PS2 for steering!" Well obviously you effing did. That's part of the system's hardware.

Disappointing guys. There isn't a single Capcom Wii game I want at the moment aside from Monster Hunter Tri, and God knows when that's going to be done. Dead Rising and Moto GP are both inferior products, and no amount of PR talk is going to convince anyone otherwise.

Lol, does capcom even realize that the Wii has online? It's ridiculousYell

Capcom, I hope you realize that nobody will buy this game, no online=no buy. You effed up Capcom.

"We have a broad Wii portfolio. I don't see that changing in the future. " - Sven

"How many Wii titles have online co-op, even from Nintendo?" - Sven... so you want Capcom to be as mediocre as the rest of Wii developers? Figures.

Adding online support would have required additional work and blown their budget of peanuts.
