Capcom didn't say it wouldn't make exclusives, it said it wouldn't make "major" exclusives. Does Capcom consider TvC a "major" game? Doubtful. |

oh gawd...why dont people read eveything not just the part they wanna read, Capcom said starting March 31, 2009(end of Q4 2008)they wont do anymore exclusives, any game in development or going into development will be multi-platform TvsC will be out way before then so it doesn't count.

Hey Paddy, Where's Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter and Bionic Commando and Dark Void for the Wii? _________________________________________________________________ He wasn't offensive in any way though, so no need to answer like that, even if we Wii owners are in disavantage and all that. Like said, said game is not even major or anything. I mean do you want boasting perks of screaming "IT'S EXCLUSIVE" for this one? A guy with another console just has to pick pretty much any Capcom game exclusively not on the Wii to own it. (not judging the quality of the product, in this case... but the hype, badassness and broad appeal) If I were you, and if you want the game... I'd worry more if it'll even come out of Japan more than if it'll only come to the Wii or whatever.
This said, for the OP... they say the game is running on some unnanounced arcade board who is 480p instead of HD, thgat alone makes sense as an infraestruture for the Wii, more than for the competitors, who knows perhaps it runs on a Wii arcade board. And if it does... a Wii release would be essentially free to do, regarding extra development costs, whereas HD versions would probably not be worth it. Just a random reasoning though. |

They said no "major" game would be exclusive. That still leaves the door open for non-major exclusives, say a game like Phoenix Wright. Here's the exact quote: "'Completing implementation of multi-platform development on major titles' means that all major titles launched during the next fiscal year or thereafter will be developed as multi-platform games." |
