VERY, VERY, unlikely. Capcom has basically abandoned REmaking anything, and ports to PS3 would only disappoint you even more. I'm sorry, but the GC is actually the best one to put it on. Can a PS2 do this?
Zero and the REmake belong on GC...it's their ZONE. If nothing else, you'll always have RE1, RE2, and RE3. Those games will never be REmaked, and will remain on PS1 as their main console. The GC ports were ridiculous; they were STRAIGHT ports, with little change in graphics and only changes in controls. The Zero Wii port was Japan-only, since they couldn't get good enough market predictions for the Europe/North America regions, and it is, in fact, a straight port with only Wii controls adapted and nothing else. I'm sorry mate, but when it comes to REmakes, Capcom only bothered doing one, and what a remake it was.
If I am to die before my time, I count that a gain: for when any one lives, as I do, compassed about with evils, can such a one find aught but gain in death?

Ok, so Throw the remake idea out the window...but how about a port?? A port would be nice....I mean GC didnt deserve to have the WHOLE RE Series 0,1,2,3,4,and possible 5 (not counting the FPS ones and the Online one) Port it over to PS3 or PS2 and I will call it square, i mean IT'S SAD!! IMA START A POLL OR A RANT OR A PETITION OR SOMETHING!! I SWUR!!!! |

The Remake and RE Zero are part of a Nintendo exclusive deal made years ago, that said those games can be moved from Nintendo platform to Nintendo platform (such was the case with the ports of both to the Wii in Japan) but you'll likely never see versions, ports, remakes etc on anything else. The greatest chance for a seeing classic RE games on next gen systems are either PSN or XBL arcade versions of RE1,2 and 3, or remakes of RE2 and 3. Just keep in mind that neither of those options has ever been announced, confirmed or even rumored at this point. So basically RE5 is about all the RE related news we're getting for awhile.

well i would like RE1 RE2 RE3 to be on the EU and NA PSN store as i would love to play them again i would buy all of them as my RE games got wrecked over so many years and it would be great to have all of them on my ps3 the creator said to brush up on resident evil and thats the only way i can |

you know what, i too wish that RE was on sony more than these other companys systems. thing is what you just said actually makes a lot of sense and i agree with ya. the only title you mentioned that i can actually debate with is metal gear. metal gear was on the msx2 first and metal gear solid was on the playstation first. with the exception of metal gear, if RE should only be on sony then it is true that final fantasy should be on nintendo and same with mega man. then again you could say that anything sony should be on nintendo seeing as how the playstation was originally being developed by sony with nintendo as the snes-cd. pretty sure this is accurate but its been a while since ive researched it.

Eh, I just find fanboy rants like this far too annoying. I dont care what company or system. Its a video game, buy it, play it, judge it. I wouldnt really flip my wig if zelda, metal gear, or halo came around to a different platform. Thats the exact point I tried to get across with those examples Of course it just wont ever happen wiwth SOME games, but whatever.
