yeah... sorry about my questioning the BJ and BC... I'm a 'tard and wasn't thinking.

If it isn't an extra weapon and there are no hidden rooms... then we would have to get it via cheat code or DLC, right? though, there are no slots (question marks) in the modes option... that doesn't mean we couldn't download TECHNIQUES or another character... or ANYTHING.  Perhaps we will get Rush Adapter... or... something I can't even imagine.

sorry for the double post as well!

I was thinking about the throwing sprite...  What if they just copied the sprites from the first or second MM and just pasted it on this one?  They just didn't bother using them... "secret" doesn't mean it has to be part of the PLAYABLE game, does it?  It could just honestly be a secret... as weak as that is.

But that doesn't explain the walking throw sprite... so I hope I am wrong

Random? Yeah, we're trying to figure out if this undiscovered MegaMan9 secret is true or just an hoax. What's up then?

With the present facts, I believe this thing is really a big hoax, as someone is just teasing us. Those sprites mean nothing, but unused data, since it's not a weapon or there's no extra projectile sprites hidden too. I'm out of possibilities, and surely no more interested in bad jokes. Ditto.

Right, it is hoax taking in consideration the fact that a Capcom employee (S-kill) said that there is actually an undiscovered secret in the game.

I've been looking for awhile. I'm beginning to doubt that it can be found in actual gameplay. Surely, people out there have bombed every corner of every level
with every item by now so I doubt that it's a secret room or item (like an M-Tank).
Although I suppose whatever it is could magically pop up on the 10th
time going through a level. (sort of like the hard to find Hadouken Capsule in Armored Armadillo's stage).

I completed the game while pressing random buttons on the gamecube controllers in all 4 ports. I even tried shaking the wii mote for many many things. Noticed nothing different.

I'm suspecting that it might be a secret menu, (Sound test, Gallery, other) but it's really tough to look for those.  I tried inputting passwords in my player name. I noticed "Capcom" is considered "Inappriopiate Language", but nothing besides that. Heh. Anyway, secret menus are usually accessed by holding certain buttons or pressing button combinations. Tried some, but no luck. Kinda doubt Seth would have us look for something like that though.

I don't think anyone will be able to find this without a better hint...
Hopefully it doesn't require 100% challenges completed.
