I don't think Sony has even announced the Adhoc party feature in the US and PAL territories. Plus, I think the games have to have some special lines of code in them. I mean, if any game could play through Adhoc party, MHP2ndG wouldn't be listed as "the first playable title"... and all previously released titles would be able to play, right?

Sony hasnt givin any info about releaseing Ad Hoc Party Stateside, its still in Beta in Japan.
Since its a tunneling program like Kai. Any game techinally (and does) play thru it as long as it plays in Ad Hoc. Several players have started playing mhf2 and such thru it. Some games like FFT dont play very while as they do on Kai . Even then FFT is a 50/50 crap shoot to get signals to see each other. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- So far... -Ad Hoc party Works faster then Kai, (since after all its 1 download and contains everything you need) Simple click will set it up, and nother click will "sync" it to ur psp. -Kai is free (along with zdlan program) but wifi max cost 19-45bucks and if ur not very techie or can't follow a 10-30 step set up properly... you'll probaly say it sucks then. -Ps3 is expensive for a "wfi max" replacement. -Ps3 has nother draw back other then price.... 20gb don't come with wireless...so no ad hoc party for you. -Those who use the wireless(on ps3) to play online will need to use a ethernet cord instead. Since like Zdlan, it changes the wireless signal for Ad Hoc.

An interesting note from Sony's data that they've been sharing with us... about half of PS3 owners, also own a PSP. So there's a sizable audience of people who can be playing. I'm cautiously optimistic that for games like MH that Ad-hoc party is going to breathe new life into the communities and potentially into the platform. That said, I've got no idea when it's coming Westward. It can't happen soon enough in my opinion.
