Seriously. Someone could just buy the anniversary collection for less than 10$ And get all 8 classic megamans plus two extras (Power Battles/Power Battles II) I WAS BORED and did a search http://www.ebgames.com/browse/search.aspx?N=0&Ntk=TitleKeyword&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Ntt=mega%20man%20anniversary Gamecube: $7.99 (Used: Great Deal) My question is, knowing this, why would you "over-charge" 5$ for the Mega Mans? If you purchase the anniversary collection, you would save a lot of money... Now, i'm not saying that you're being greedy or anything now. To be honest, I love you guys. You guys make awesome games. Just, it seems, a price jump from what, 50 cents per game for the anniversary collection, to 5 dollars for a Wii version, JUST so you can use a wiimote, isn't that a bit too much? |

Convenience for one. Lots of people want something and they want it right then and there. There's a lot to recommend digital distribution, period. Also, lots of people don't buy used games (including me).

Aside from what Sven said... MMAC is OUT OF PRINT, and used games tend to come with flaws...I only bought two used games in my life and both were defective. You get what you pay for. And if $5 is a serious financial concern for you, then why do you have a Wii to begin with? Come on man, you paid $250 for that console yet MM3's $5 is a serious concern for you =P |

MMAC for Gamecube is broken. The idiots that put the games together switched the shoot and the jump buttons with each other. It's completely unplayable.

And, unless I'm mistaken, Capcom has nothing to do with setting the prices. They're pretty standard across almost all NES Virtual Console games, save for imports and licensed material. --LBD "Nytetrayn" |

i'm surprised by sven comment here, i wonder if he's truly speaking his mind as a consumer/gamer or as a capcom representative when he said he doesn't buy used games, afterall capcom doesn't make any money off used game sales. i have nothing against used games, in fact if it wasn't for used games i might never be able to play some of those rarer games that i missed upon release. But then again i only buy used games as a last resort but i think used games are alright, they definitely do more good than harm (for consumers).

As a gamer and collector, I never dl games. it's easier but the physical copy is more reliable and usually a better bargain. Don't be lazy gentleman. |
