Street Fighter 2 HD could really be on Nintendo by wiiware or wii dvd. I don't see why not no trouble. Street Figter 4 seems possible on wii as well don't lie to me Capcom. Why isn't Boinic Cammando rearmed on wii it could be on a wii dvd or wiiware because its possible 100%. Don't forget wii supports Dual Layer dvd.

they should call it Progressive Scan Remix or 480p Remix, Wii isn't classified as HD not even the slightest, as for wiiware?! i think capcom have to compress the file to smallest possible to fit into the wii's internal memory (512mb)

How well the Wii could carry off Streetfighter 4 and HD is debateable...

in my opinion the wii can't handle SF4 if you compare the specs of taito type x2

There are already 4 versions of Street Fighter 2 on Wii, and we don't need another one. I would rather have Street Fighter 4

It couldn't ever be Wiiware, even at 480p. File size is just too large given the storage restrictions for Wiiware. Theoretically it could be disc based but there are no plans at the moment. We'll see how it does on its current platforms and then maybe we'll see.

In theory, with reasonable downgrades in visual quality including resolution reduction, yes. I will still raise the question: what's the input mechanism for a Wiimote + nunchuck (which is what 100% of the installed base has) on a Street Fighter title?

Again, it would never fit in the Wiiware filesize so it would have to be disc based and you'd basically have to redo everything for Wii. It would not be an inexpensive process and I'm not sure the result would be completely satisfactory. I think you underestimate how technically advanced BCR is. It's built on the same engine as the big BC is.

Part of the reason HD Remix and BCR are digital is because we don't believe they're the right content for the retail channel (at least, not as stand alone experiences). The economics would be highly unfavorable as compared to their digital counterparts. And Wiiware, we're finding, only works for titles built from the ground up for Wiiware as the lead SKU given the filesize restrictions.

You are not marketing SF4 to 100% of the install base so that argument is moot! Do you expect your 360 games to sell  11 Million? Of course not! Your games typically sell to a fraction of the entire install base of any console.

Given that fact it's reasonable to assume that those who want SF4 already have a CC or GC controller or are more than willing to buy one. Throw in the fact that you can just put a simplified control scheme on the Wiimote (A=HP, B=LP, C=LK, Z=HK), and the normal scheme on the CC and you have all you have your "problems" solved.  And don't try to say that scheme is no good because I've played SF since I was a kid and I've barely ever used the Medium attack buttons, and that is more than good enough for your non-hardcore fighting gamer. The hardcore fighting gamers will likely already have one of the many Wii arcade joysticks available.

Not really, they are doing their very best, Street Fighter IV doesn't need to be avaliable for all consoles. It's the perfect attribute of the game, that's what matters. And the Wii doesn't have the ability to unleah the game's full potential.
