Honestly, the only reason I still keep posting in these threads is to let Sven know that I haven't lost interest in the idea of playing those games on the Wii. I'm pretty certain he's gotten the point by now; but hey, just in case.

Oh, I was just talking about the "more games on Wii" threads. I don't plan to stop posting on Unity in general. :)

Potential problems with the system itself aside, the controls are still a big issue.

Sure the hardcore fans might buy a pad, and a lot of people have the classic controller, but the only way to get it to play on what everyone has (remote+nunchuck) would be to drastically alter how the game is played. A lot of people wont buy the game if they're expected to buy another controller to get it to work right.

If you're waving your arms around in the air and fireballs are flying out on screen as a result, you're not playing Street Fighter.

I still disagree with this view. As I've said earlier in the thread. SF has been released on several platforms in which the standard control options aren't ideal. In the case of the portable versions of the game, the controls aren't ideal period. Unlike consoles, there is no optional control feature.

Well, it's not aimed at me and I certainly have 99.9% of my posts in the ask capcom section and probably complaining in loop but since we're having this kind of lighthearted moment (sorry to barge in) I'd like to say something that probably doesn't really come out in the systematical tone I end up taking; and that is, that I really like, Sven, S-kill and the capcom PR team (and I miss Lost), so erm... thanks.

now excuse me, I'm seeing a new thread for my complaints *rushes out*

actually its quite nice on the psp.  it plays like it does on the playstation consoles.  sfa3 is great on it and so is the capcom classics reloaded.

I dont see the point of releasing this on the wii.It not worth a entire game and it can`t be put online on the wii because of insufficient space. It better to port street fighter 4 instead on the wii because many wii owners will want it so it sucsess will help capcom most beloved strategy to create kick ass game on next-gen console^Wii owners want kick ass game, capcom create kick ass game for next-gen,wii owners want them on their wii, capcom port them on the wii even if the port is inferior,it sell a lot and capcom use that money to create even more kick ass game and it go on and on and on until they is a new generations of console.^

Overall ssf3thd remix on the wii is a waste of time so sf4 would be better and more suitable to your little^making money to create next-gen game for dummies.^Lol i love the name,i would brought a copy to learning it again.

Not really, the game could work with the wii motes. Here how...

1 button;punch

2 button;kick

a button;taunt

b button;focus attack

both punch and kick;grapple

ultra move;any motions that need to be done for a special move and either taunt or focus attack with the motions.

So that would make a nice control scheme that would give the game a retro feeling on hands but the implementation of light, medium and heavy on attacks would be more complicated and could **** a little the control and gameplay.

Still,it can be done if capcom feel they want to bring it on the wii.
