Just wondering are there going to be any remakes or entirely new series on the PSP? I know that everything is basically depending on SF4 and RE5's success.

But just wanna know like maybe something like dissidia where you guys take some heroes and villians from every series and make them fight?

Well I guess the second sentence would be something for a next-gen system wouldnt it?

Yeah like an entirely new psp exclusive fighting series with original characters and storyline. CAPCOM should be more involved with the PSP more than just the collections IMO.

I think i know how to get more money, more games for the psp...

1.Familiar franchise like devil may cry or resident evil should have a games exclusive to the psp, designed as a portable games so,familiar people of those beloved franchises will be interested.

2.If you port game on the psp, pick the ones who stand a chance.A exemple,mvc2 on the psp could allow psp owners to enjoy a great fighting experience^well for psp owners^and could allow those who like mvc2 to play it on the go.This is a game that it sure that people will buy it and i could imagine it will become one of the greatest fighting games on the psp alongside powerstones collection and the psp version of tekken 5.

3.More original games that are suited for the platforms, and that include stuff that sell.Game like okami are great but doesn`t sell well so capcom should look into what would be awesome for a lot of people.

So that all i can say right now to bring back sales on the psp for capcom.

The list is;

A original resident evil, designed for the psp and not a port.

Same for devil may cry.

A port of a kick ass game that people will buy if it on the psp

A original games.

Maybe a mmorpg on street fighter.

All those game could help capcom a lot and convince more people of getting a psp as well.

We have a good number of projects on PSP still, the largest of which is Monster Hunter Freedom Unite which will be coming in 2009.

I'm not sure I'm understanding your perceived link of PSP projects to SF4 and RE5 though (unless you mean that those are our near term biggest titles).

Yeah I meant that those were our biggest upcoming titles.

If Capcom's largest PSP project is a US/EU release of a one year old Japanese game (from the series that has never really been popular outside its native country), then things look positively bleak for Capcom's PSP support in general.

If that same game is be the best selling title in PSP history (and it is), I'd say it bodes pretty well. Difference of perspective I suppose.
