It truly was i didnt really like the original MM but MMPU was great. MM2, MM3,MM4, MM8 and MM9 are my favorite 8-bit megaman titles. If CAPCOM could just do MMPU2 and stop it there i would be the happiest person ever!!!!! ***Passes out from the mere thoguht of owning CRASHMAN on PSP*** |

I thought this was obvious, but no, any port to the PSP would likely lose the "HD" part of the title, bringing it down to simply "Super Street Fighter II Turbo Remix" (possibly even "Super Street Fighter II Turbo Portable Remix"). At any rate the PSP has a higher resolution than the arcade cabinet (320x240 in the arcade, 480x272 on the PSP screen) so the updated artwork would provide a tangible benefit, and it's got a widescreen display (PSP is 16:9) so it would benefit from the work done to add a widescreen mode to the PS3/XBLA release. You say "people wouldn't be interested" and then fail to add why you think they wouldn't be interested. If it's priced reasonably I don't see why people wouldn't buy it. Maybe my playing habits are at odds with the rest of gamers out there but I hate RPG/adventure games on portables. I like something I can play for a bit and then get on doing other things, and Street Fighter is perfect in that sense. Further, it provides opportunities for quick matches when you meet up with friends. I'm not saying a compilation would be bad, by the way, but it would take a lot more work (and more time) to get a compilation together than to port what's already done to the PSP. It might make more sense to port SSF2THDR, release it as a standalone, then put out a compilation with it included at a later date (more money for Capcom since completists will want the collection as well). |

Yeah, but this just makes me wish I could play it on-the-go even more. Of course if Capcom had enabled Remote Play this might not be so bad, but Remote Play doesn't make it possible to play friends with PSPs you meet up with. |

Over the course of 2009 and beyond of course. I'm not giving anything more narrow than that.

If ssf2thdr can be downloaded on the psp,i think people would be interested but i just dont see a stand alone version of a game that can be dowloaded on xbox live and psn.And at the same time,im not sure people will be interested in a stand alone psp version. For a reasonnable price, maybe but a compilation would be the way to go for it. A compillation would be a better idea. For exemple, the re-release of bionic commando, mega man 9,ssf2thdr are popular gamer on online system. My idea here is to put all 3 games together on the psp.The only thing is that bionic commando would need a graphics downsize because the psp isn`t a next-gen.But it would work well. And the compilation would be compatible online to download content for each game or play online. For exemple, megaman 9 have dowloadable content so the same should be bring to the psp.And ssf2thdr should have online and wireless so people can beat the **** out of each other with only one umd. I think capcom should consider it in the future because that would be interesting for psp owners. |

I'd pay $30 for a compilation for the PSP or I'd pay another $15 for a hard copy even though I've already bought HDR for the PS3. I like physically owning things rather than digitally. Also, still no word on the DMC game? :<
