I'm assuming it's the same deal as with every other PS2 controller, since PS3 uses new connectors for its controllers you need an adapter. With a proper adapter it should work fine. |

I don't think a PS2 controler will work with a PS3 game..
Never seen something like that work out...

360 uses different connectors and signals are encrypted, so no.

well if you want tho you DO get some sort of universal controlers i seen one that is for PC and PS2 tho..
maybe if you hunt down carefully you could find them but it wont be worth it.

If you're wanting to your XBOX controllers play Street Fighter 4, you can buy the PC version of the game and then buy an XBOX to USB adapter. With HDR however, you're out of luck as there's no PC version.
wait, what?

Be careful with those. Most of them introduce some lag to the controls.

I use this with my PS2 SF controller: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.6834 No lag and it doubles as a memory card adapter. It works on PS1/2/3 games because it has a PS button (you can also hold Select and press dpad up). Also, stay away from the Xbox SF controller because the dpad is bad compared to the PS2 version. This is why the Xbox version isn't licensed by Microsoft and the PS2 version is licensed by Sony. |
