Not true. We have not distributed full-versions out to anyone. The press does have a version to preview that's longer than the public demo. That's probably what that journalist is refering to.

Thanks for the answer but can you tell me from how much it is longer, and it's only given to big site ? because iam talking about a small/average french website which one staff's member pretend having played it through 6 levels.

The game has 11.5 levels (half level for sort of an introductory interactive section that I won't describe so as not to spoil it) and the later levels are longer than the earlier levels. If they've only played 6 levels, they've missed most of the game... The single player campaign is FAR longer than 6 hours.

Also, multiplayer code has never left our offices in the US or Europe. So no one other than people we've invited in or who have seen it at events like TGS, Liepzig, Gamespot After Hours, Gamestop's Manager's Show, etc. has never had the opportunity to really dig in.

Even then, the multiplayer level shown at those events was a single level, limited in content multiplayer demo. The full game will ship with 9 multiplayer maps most of which haven't even been shown to media we've invited to our office to play.

Thanks you for your answer. Although, let me precise that i dont have any doubt about the quality of the game as i don't have doubt for the quality of the capcom's game in general. The aim of my post was not to spread doubt about the quality/lenght of the game.
I just want to know if it's possible that a french site/magazine (not very big) receive a copy of a preview lost planet game that allow them to play 6 levels ?

I'm not 100% sure how our European group is seeding code among the media, but yes, that is theoretically possible. I believe that early versions of the campaign have been sent to select media in the US so I wouldn't be surprised to see Europe using similar approaches. As far as their criteria for selection of outlets to receive code, that's nothing I can comment on as I have no insights there.

I'm confused now. I would really like it to be "FAR more than 6 hours". A game this good is something I don't want to breeze through.

The time on their "in-game" clock doesn't account for the times that they reset missions or failed missions and had to retry.

If someone on their first time through does it in a real-time 6 hours, I'd be shocked to say the least. Most people on even the normal difficulties will be 9-12 hours. Even then you won't find a fraction of the "targets". ;)
