I had no idea you were limited by how many people are employed there. Crazies.
Still doesn't change the fact that my long-term goal is a job there. :D

Actually we have two + a creative director who in his own right is a good designer.
I know, I've checked out Francis' stuff online. I think I even saw a Star Wars book cover he's done(I think). I've read a lot of the novels, and the chance to be an artist for a cover is awesome.
I have a request for some more "Inside Capcom" pictures... I'd like to see the design dept. :)
What kind of design is done in house at the Capcom offices? I'd be curious to see the process and the workstations/employees who do the designing there.
I know there's no game design done there, but I'm curious and most interested in the actual marketing/advertising design, if that's something you guys do in house.
I mean, is there someone who gets a varied design workflow? Like design a flash ad for Lost Planet, then a Devil May Cry 4 theme for XBL, then a booklet/instruction manual for We love Golf, then a Bionic Commando T-Shirt, then some Capcom "heart" boxers, etc.
If there is, I'm very interested in learning a little more about his/her/their work.
A little known fact - there is actual quite a bit of game design done in the US office, as we're working on a number of projects. If you have any specific questions about game design, contact Kraig, our Director of Design.

I figured from everything that goes on in the San Mateo office that it was mostly games outsourced to other companies to develop.
That's a new bit for me. Thanks! I'm still mostly curious to see the design that goes into the marketing stuff. Don't get me wrong, game design is cool. But I'm a marketing designer, and therefore it makes me curious to see Capcom's process. :)

As has already been revealed, Capcom's U.S. office is mostly that--an office, but there are definitely a few unusual bits I thought I'd share after seeing that some people are curious (forgive the yellow-izing phone cam!):
Here's the sign I consult when I forget where it is that I work. Also there's a mysterious hammer and a button beneath it. I don't know what this does, nor does anyone else seem to. http://www.flickr.com/photos/capcomlost … 598070946/
If you can get past the tight security, things inside can get more relaxed quickly. Here's blogger extraordinaire Brian Dunn breaking all kinds of health codes by running around barefoot. http://www.flickr.com/photos/capcomlost … 598070946/
A Lego recreation of the "Hardballer" VS from Lost Planet. Sitting atop the Hardballer is the head from an extremely creepy, extremely old Mega Man costume. The eyes follow you, and so does the smell. http://www.flickr.com/photos/capcomlost … 598070946/
A small pyramid of the new promotional Poogie plushes from Monster Hunter Freedom 2. They are practicing to form Poogie Voltron which will take revenge on us all. http://www.flickr.com/photos/capcomlost … 598070946/
Nique (aka qchan) settling into his new digs at Capcom. He really looks like he cares about what you think, doesn't he? I think it's because, contra to my advice, he actually does. http://www.flickr.com/photos/capcomlost … 598070946/
There's about 70 people working in the offices. Getting all of them together at a moment when they're not busy I bet would be one hell of a trick. But that aside, a group shot would be pretty awesome!

You just want a group shot so you can see what the artists over at the Capcom US offices look like so you can kill them and take their job! >_> <_<
