http://playstationlifestyle.net/2008/06/18/rumor-industry-rumblings-regarding-resident-evil-5/ By now, you may have heard about the "Major RE5 Reveal at E3″ that Videogaming247 is reporting. Some more information has made its way to PlayStationLifeStyle.net... Whether or not this information is true is unknown. However we felt it is our duty to give fans a heads up on a HUGE announcement that MAY be coming @ E3. Please take this as a rumor as that's all it is at this point. No solid information on the subject yet. From what I have been told, Microsoft is looking to pay Capcom an undisclosed amount, for timed exclusivity of Resident Evil 5. It is still not known if Capcom has accepted the offer... The information we got, was only that Microsoft has made the offer. If this is going to be announced it will be @ E3. Similar to the GTAIV "showing of the tattoo" a couple of years ago. It this is true, all of you petition fanatics out there better get to work. Remember this is just a rumor, and nothing is known for sure at this time. Capcom are you able to confirm or deny this rather upsetting rumor? |

moneyhats, moneyhats and more moneyhats >_> they really think they can buy anything when they're cornered marketwise. Should be forbidden for a company getting their funds elsewhere plumbing money endlessly on an industry they realistically never profited from (lost like, 6 bilions with Xbox 1, plus a few with X360, that's more than playstation brand did in 10 years) if they were living off games they had been bankrupt like 1000 times now), sure, a initial investment makes sense, but other than that... it has to be viable, not just a war to buy stuff chasing monopolist ideals and seeing if they can buy the whole industry. It's getting ridiculous now and getting over the regular course of things and what makes sense for such, more than this game actually, as a whole... *continues to mumble* Oh well. |

You know what dis does not surprisr, M$ is tryin 2 but everything and quite frankly its workin, its there fault Star Ocean might not even come to PS3 and if it does I gotta wait till there Timed exclusion deal to wear off, and sadly I wouldn't put it past Capcom to take it, but as long as Megaman and Breath of Fire dont get messed ill put it behind me

Man, just to stop the PS3. Rock Band is 360 timed exclusive here in Europe. MS is afraid of the PS3... |

I don't feel any different. I'll just keep on waiting. But this would be extremely irritating on Capcom's part, should this be true.

Rumors are fun. With the degree by which Capcom has been flaunting its multiplatform strategy, do you honestly think they'd so lightly throw all of that to the side? Would that really make a whole lot of sense? At any rate, I'm sure the game will come out at the same time on M$' console as it will $ony's console.
