Are you asking if we're looking for feedback or if we're pleased by the response to the title? On feedback, not really looking for direction on this one. The direction has long since been picked. As far as when the rest of the news comes...
I know the direction of the game is probably the first thing to be picked. I was thinking of things more on the lines of polls being taken to decide which hidden character will be in the game, or if the debateable subject "8 bit retro graphics in the 21th century" would influence the development of the game

How is Capcom taking fan feedback with this game? And when will we get the rest of the scope of the news?
Rather than looking for specific thoughts from fans, I'd have to say this game ITSELF is basically fan-driven. It's pretty clear that without the kind of deep fan love for Mega Man, and Capcom's respect for those feelings, an idea this crazy would have just been laughed out of the room. best, Seth

So apparently the NP article states that there will be DLC and online leaderboards?!? Is this part of what Sven was holding back on, or is there even more? Just awesome

I'm guessing the DLC and leaderboards are fo the 360/PS3 version
Yes, I'm sure Nintendo Power is eager to reveal features for the game that only exist on other platforms.

Yes, I've read at Gamespot forums that the PS3/360 version of MM9 will have DLC, online leaderboards, enhanced graphics and sound, longer campaign, extras, multiplayer and a cheaper price. But don't worry, it's Wii owners they are letting down, that's just normal from every 3rd party dev. Wii owners are little kids, they won't realize.

Why are you giving any consideration to random nonsense posted on a random forum on Teh Intarnetz? If you want a concrete rumor, try this on for size: The PS3 and 360 versions has a dating simulation minigame in which you are given the chance to woo various human and robot characters. If you don't think that one woman is enough for you, you're able to build relationships with multiple different characters all at once, but you'll be in trouble if any one of them find out. Console exclusive characters include Master Chief and Cortana, who (assuming you can pry her away from her armor-suited man) is available for hot holographic romance. PS3 owners will be given the chance to build up a relationship with Kratos, who recently gave up his job as swinger of sharp things to become the newest rising pop star, embracing his role as lead singer for the band Goddess of War.

It's far more likely than Capcom putting some effort into Wii development Call me nuts, but Capcom did a lot more effort from the start (and no party games) for the Wii by comparison with other developers.
There's no denying they're not going all out on it and all that (and if they are I can't wait to see that) but I wouldn't call their effort "unlikely" If it's true that other versions will be better on this case though, and ours more expensive, I'll be pissed though.

Isnt the max storage for Wiiware like 50MB or somthin like that? if all that stuff about PSN/XBL version is true theres no way the Wiiware can hold all that, so instead Wii gets a nostalgia approach I think thats better than always treating the Wii as a second rate console and constantly givin it watered down PSN/XBL titles, Wii is not PSN/XBL and its not Capcoms fault that Wiiware only could hold that little or Nintendo marketing there as family/kid friendly be mad at Nintendo not Capcom

^ Lol 50 MB is a lot of space for an 8-bit game. I would assume it will be a 1MB file. Wii has online capabilities and rankings/leaderboards are not a problem, there re already Multiplayer games with leaderboards for WiiWare from smaller 3rd party devs with smaller budgets. Graphics in those games are great. Check FFCC, Lost Winds, Toki Tori, Gyrostarr. Capcom is being lazy and disrespectful with Wii owners. It's just that Capcom thinks Wii owners would buy any crap, but they know PS3/360 owners will only buy decent efforts. 50MB is a lot, N64 full games were smaller than 50 MB I think. Please think before posting.
