Games to max out wii's power?

The wii has had terrible 3rd party support and often don't put effort in maximizing the graphics, physics and dynamics possible on wii. Some interviews as well as looks at some games in devolopment for it look to push it in ways nobody could imagine (factor 5's project for example)

jasonmg99 Posts: 259	The Resident Evil games i think have the best graphics out of all games on nintendo. They're quite impressive for standard graphics and not exactly high def Re0 and REmake stil had better graphics by small amount perhaps, yeah graphics can be spruced up quite a bit. MH3 was recently announced that i know of. Haven't seen much footage on that, i guess we just gotta wait till e3 before we have the big answers to our questions.

whyeo Posts: 286	don't forget, capcom has had a lot of experience working on the GCN (Capcom5, REmake, RE0) before they were able to harness every last bit of the Gamecube's power on RE4.... it will be a while before we really see what the Wii is capable of, and i wonder if Capcom will even be one of the 3rd party developers to tap the Wii full potential after all, they have publishing and outsourcing a bit more on the wii than actually developing....it makes a difference i believe as they wouldn't really know the hardware inside out.

jasonmg99 Posts: 259	the wii is said to be about twice as powerful as GC, imagine what they could have done with RE4 if they maxed out the wii's power. I read info about the conduit and theres a lot of speculation that game will be incredible and will function close to an 360 game, and as for factor 5's secret project, well we'll have to wait and see.

It's exclusive and it sounds fantastic Assuming they don't just port an enhanced version to another system with more content it'll be enough for me on the Wii. One good exclusive game for a Nintendo system is more than I expected from Capcom in 2008 They can release all the spyborgs and puzzle pets they want for all I care. It sounds as if they're announcing somekind of battle network game for the Wii as well at E3 which again is fine as long as there's Megaman 9

No. Captivate was the announcement with very little detail shared... it'll lie low for a bit until we're ready for a bigger reveal (similar to what we did with the Dark Void announcement last October with the bigger reveal at Captivate), so no E3 showing. Hopefully if the game is above average Capcom will market the game well. It's going to have a tough time competing with licensed childrens titles
