DMC4 is unlikely as the game is done and it has its own little trophylike system


Puzzle Fighter is also unlikely. The game is done and the team that made it is on other stuff.


SSF2T HD Remix, undetermined at this time. We'll have to see what schedules look like and what Sony's requirements are.


New games that are started from here on out though, it's a safe bet that they'll be there (it's been worked into CEI's developer contracts as a required deliverable).

Well I know DMC4 is done, but there is a Capcom team working on DMC4 PC right? I bet they have some knowledge or had worked on the PS3 version of DMC4. I don't think implementing of just transfering DMC4 Accomplishment to Trophies should be that difficult. Also they can be retroactive since they are linked to the user PSN ID, which makes it impossible to trick, just like Criterion is doing for their Burnout Paradise game.


I hope that Capcom DMC4 group decided to put just a few days on trophie support for DMC4 mainly, because the game has a high replay value and with Trophies in it a lot of gamers will gadly come back to it after sometime. Also I'm surprise DMC4 team is not working in DLC for DMC4 like past Dante costumes, since that is something DMC4 was lacking compared to the other DMC games.

Is Capcom realy that lazy to make a patch for these titles? First Super Street Fighter 2 turbo: HD remix beta is only for Crap box. 3rd party developers are getting realy careless when it comes to pleasing their consumers.

Sony will require them eventually on new products, but it's not possible to force people to retroactively patch games that are already in the market/recently submitted. And somehow, people forget, patches cost money and take bodies (bodies that are commited to other projects).

Well that sums it all up! Now i can sell devil may cry 4 in piece without guilt. If it not going to get the trophies support then for me there's no reason to buy nor keep. Good thing that bionic commando will have trophies of what i heard. Hopefully rearmed has it to. Either way it's goes, a game with accomplishments, but does not support accomplishments of the main system= garbage! Seriously I've grain my teeth because i want dmc4 badly earlier this year. I've busted myself for it, got in some trouble, and i never forgotten that day in march when it was announce multiplatform, and the rest of my days was just pure grief. All over a game that i wanted, and the game didn't turnout what i was expecting. Also the hour long installation, and to tell people i didn't "make myself a samwitch" I went to the BK instead. Now I'am very fat thanks to re installing, and i made several samwitches waile it's installing. With no trophies support in dmc4. The game feel like half of what it's counterparts got. Sad, but mostly true. No defense, but i'am a new generation of achievement collectors. I'AM A PLAYSTATION 3 TROPHIES HOG. But, yeah no trophies support at all, meaning no support from me. Im putting away my rebellion sword and bony and ivory with blue rose and quitting devil may cry 4 for good. Here's one thing that i don't get, and that is why capcom put accomplishment in the ps3 version to begin with!? If it not going to support trophies at all then....... Forget it, it wouldn't matter at all! Either way this is sad.

Are you complaining to Isomniac about how lazy they are, too?


Isominac is creating resistance 2 a big game that taking alot out of them. 8 man co-op 60 man online battle with a new squad base system, plus the 8 man co-op is a different campaign story then the main!? Before you call isominac "lazy", think about how much there putting in resistance 2. Capcom devil may cry 4  "accomplishments" is nothing, but a lifeless achievement. Made just for worthless fun. It's not even worth the time. The news about it having no trophies has really gotten to me. At least EA is braking more grounds for playstation fan this year then others two 3rd party game developers that need redeeming out of there sad bitter deeds. It's sad that those two don't take the playstation 3 seriously enough. They will be left as a laughing stalk in the industry at the end of this generation, because they truly can't make a true next-gen game! and that's also why i pity the two companies that don't.

He's moaning about Capcom not jumping immediately to add trophy support to their PS3 games when a fair number of other respectable third party developers (Infinity Ward, for example), and even a fairly big second party developer (Isomniac) aren't exactly jumping to go back and patch their backlog of titles. If you're going to complain about Capcom being lazy for not doing it, you should also be complaining about Isomniac and all of those other developers being lazy.


Isomniac is too busy making games to do it, you say? That's funny, because Capcom is in the exact same boat with a fair number of titles being developed across the entire spectrum of available consoles.


What's wrong with DMC4's achievements being for "lifeless fun"? Isn't that the entire point of achievements/trophys/whatever the hell you want to call them? It's not like they have any real meaning.
