Actually as of this month it looks like the Wii has overtaken the Xbox 360 in North America.

And of VGZ is to believed, by a million units.  Not that VGZ is to be believed.

At the time the decision was made, it was in reference to the Wii market in general, no particular sub-segement thereof.

But do you guys intend to try and tap into the older Pokémon audience? I mean, we haven't really seen a decent Pokemon RPG on a home console since Colosseum...Monster Hunter Tri could really give us something to devote our hours to. :D

And Sven! 2g is stated to pop in at TGS! Thou its toyko gameshow and consider the Insane following of Crazy Mh fans in japan. Might just be nice thank you for all crazys.

i thought they were refering to mh3 personally (in the gamespot thing)

i think though that what sven said in this very thread was a really big hint to 2g anyway, he had said to wait a few months before he can answer whether 2g is coming or not, so obviously something's gonna happen in a few more months. thats what i think

MH3 not appearing in the E3 list is somehow disturbing..Maybe it was more preferable to show the first Footage on Japanese grounds..

But we will get the game in US and EU, right...right...RIGHT???Yell

I believe Sven said in an older thread that Monster Hunter was an important part of their Western strategy.

It's increasingly critical... but it's probably safer to any major MH announcements to most likely come from more Japan-focused events given the importance of the series to that territory.

TGS showing. Confirmed. Tongue out

It's still hard to believe a game with such a strong online fanbase is being built ground up for the Wii. I wonder if this means that Nintendo's online support in general is about to see some sort of improvement...the "Pay to Play" announcement certainly seems to hint at this...

Gah, all this secrecy will be the death of me!

Well hopefully in MH3 they will have more cool monsters armours and weapons(like a Double sideded spear or something. Javlens and shields.) Different races to pick from even Felylne<(probly spelt wrong), (just not elves and dwarfs and etc to common) <(probly spelt wrong)  (But I still love Gunlances over all.)  and maybe they'll add the ability to have big feast with friends like in Frontier. Also some new features. Online town that way theres more than just 4 people running around. Also makeing the Town/village that you start in, Bigger since its on the system and not on a handheld. More Gestures, etc. Oh and More areas and towns to travel to. Bigger areas and towns/villages Even on the water =). Maybe it will be just one big free roaming world who knows. Of course guilds probly will be in there and before a guild there should be ability to register a hunting party to rank to get points for team work and Kills. But that practicitly what a Guild is for but the fact that u have to get to HR6 to make a guild. Guild parties and feasts. Big events and compentitions for different guild and hunting parties. Like who can kill The Rahalos first or something like that. (I have no clue if this is in frontier but anyways. I know the feast is.) There mores I could add but these ideas I would like to see. Im not sure about others but I would like to see them. It would deffinally increase my chances of buying a Wii for MH3. Doesn't matter what in it as long as theres new INTRESTING things. Though Monster Hunter Is still One of the best but theres still more things that can be added.
