Ok, I 'm not asking if you're making a Dead Rising Wii edition(though if you'd like to announce such a title that's perfectly fine by me |

I really like the Wii and I think Dead Rising is hands down the best game of this gen so far, but I wouldn't want Dead Rising on the Wii. It doesn't have enough horsepower to render a game of that scale with anything approaching nice graphics, and I don't think the Wiimote would add much to the combat. |

I'm not quite sure on how many enemies could be displayed on screen, if it came to Wii. On one hand, If you look at games like Pikimin on NGC there is hope that it isn't impossible. On the other hand the Pikmin themselves have a very low polycount compared to the Dead rising zombies and thus need lesser computing power. If it is coming, i hope that they don't do some type of spin-off like a railway shooter etc. But since I've read the following article I'm rather worried that exatly this is happening. "Issue #25 of NGamer Magazine features a very small preview of Spyborgs, with an enigmatic quote nestled within. "There's http://n-europe.com/news.php?nid=11949 But it would be pretty pointless to make another zombie themed railway-shooter when they have already done RE:UC, wich is zombie themed as well. |

Sorry, but I've got no news on DR for any other platforms at this time.

Theoretically, the legal wranglings wouldn't be a barrier.

) but what I am asking is if you did make a Wii version(port or sequel) could you release it. The reason I'm asking is because there has been a lot of talk about a secret Wii game Capcom is developing and a lot of people are speculating that its Dead Rising, but I read that Capcom is currently in litigation with The MKR Group over copyrights and trademarks, so I was wondering if you could even release a Wii version considering the current situation.
of course I'm usually wrong about these things
but that didn't really address my question. What I'm asking(and if you don't know or cant answer that's understandable) is considering whats currently going on with the MKR Group would you be able to release a new DR(port or sequel for any console) or does Capcom have to wait for the situation to be resolved before being able to do so.
