Mmm. Interesting that Dead Rising was chosen to be ported over and not Lost Planet. I wonder why that happened. I'm pretty curious about the difference in the hardware requirements for both games. DR has tons of zombies onscreen at once, while Lost Planet has all those particles and effects going on in the snow.
And of course, translating Lost Planet to Wii would be a lot easier, simply because it's an FPS. Who knows, maybe LP and Street Fighter IV are still coming to Wii in the future. Sounds to me like Capcom's still testing the waters.
I think I'll go create a thread to bug Sven about the hardware requirements right now, in fact. My curiousity is killing me.

I kind of had similar thoughts, I figured that if they were going to port one of these LP would of had the better chance, mainly because I didn't think the Wii would be able to handle the insane number of enemies onscreen that DR has. Cant wait to get the full story.
Off topic as usual, but watching the RE5 videos made my thumb's hurt.
And the RE4 controls, animations, and AI gave me wii-elbow.
You need the anti-Wii-elbownator, it's called an office chair arm-rest.
I keep my arm on the rest and tilt the entire chair when looking around. It probably sounds like more work, but while leaning back in my chair, slight shifts in my body will turn it. I only exert my feeble elbows when the action picks up. Oo
If this game doesn't come to the US, I'll be bummed. I'll just have to learn Japanese and mod my Wii.
too true, seeing how far it's already into development from the famitsu feature and it's no-show at both captivate and e3, we can't be sure if us non-japanese gamers are even getting this here.
sven dodging the question doesn't help either...... i would hate to get all worked up only to find that it's only for japan.
