As a fan of the Street Fighter Tournaments, Minoru's most favorited Fighter's were Ryu and Ken. He knew nothing of Akuma as canon wise, Akuma never entered the Tournaments and instead, lurked in the shadows. Eversince he was young, Minoru was trained by the greatest Master of GoJu in his village, who was a serious trainer, inwhich Minoru became his best and most serious student. Once he became an adult, Minoru knew that what he had been trained was good, but not near strong enough to enter a Street Fighter Tournament and win as he always dreamed. Hearing how his village was near the dojo that Ryu and Ken had trained when they were young, Minoru set off in hopes of finding Ryu there, as the Street Fighter III Tournament, (the last Tourny canon wise) came to an end. Minoru traveled just as he knew Ryu did, wanting to copy the way of the best Warrior he'd ever seen. After 6 months of going in several different directions, Minoru came across a very angry Shin Akuma whom had been ruthlessly blasting down trees and spliting heavy rocks.

Minoru didn't just run into Akuma, but heard loud sharp angry battle cries and large trees tipping over. Minoru was desperate to know what was happening as this power he was seeing and felt was insane! Upon seeing the Demonic Warrior, Minoru was absolutely amazed and stunned in awe in Shin Akuma's presence. Shin Akuma was so furious with how weak Ryu had become since he still wanted nothing to do with the Satsui no Hado. Minoru foolishly stood there, watching the Raging Demon while eagerly wanting to know more about him. Shin Akuma finally noticed Minoru and out of blind rage, struck Minoru with the Shun Goku Satsu. Standing over Minoru and watching the boy struggling to survive, Akuma was actually surprised that such a mere kid could still be breathing. It was obvious the boy had some very decent martial arts training. With some deep thought, Akuma decided to take this wandering boy under his wing with the urge to train him and show Ryu what he could have become.

As we all know, Akuma has completely mastered the Shotokan Ansatsuken Technique. It took 5 intense years of Akuma's strict training for Minoru to be how he is in my picture. Similar to Gouken as far as a new style of Ansatsuken and much like Adon in the sense that Minoru wanted his techniques to be more acrobatic, Minoru's fighting style is that taught by 2 seperate Masters, each different forms of Martial Art. He would not be just another clone. I hope that you guys find him appealing. Know that I will be doing my best to try and show Capcom abut this character as I feel the fate of Akuma will be one he doesn't deserve if he doesn't get a student of his own to teach the true style of Shotokan Ansatsuken. This is simply Minoru's opening. I have much more in depth story for him like this but will leave you with this for now, as I really wouldn't want spoilers just in case he is considered by Capcom's finest. More information such as a moves list and pictures to come soon.
