I just came across Capcom Unity member, Astra, who just showed off a recent sketch, who inspired me to go through my collection.
These are just a few of the SF-related pieces I've done. (Perhaps I should pick up my pencils again and give SFIV a break?) :p
Ever wish SFIV was designed in true 2D sprite form? You're not alone. As I was browsing the boards this evening, I stumbled upon a talented sprite artist who is currently working on bringing the cast from SFIV into the Third Strike 2D realm. So far, he's only completed work on Gouken and Rufus, but it's an excellent effort of what's to come. The artist even presented some in-game screenshots to help us all fully appreciate the "what if" scenario. It would be awesome if one day Capcom considers a future project where we could actually see characters like Gouken, Seth and Rufus faithfully introduced in the hand-drawn style. For now, all we have our hopes and dreams. avid fanboys.
