Just one month after its release, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 today receives a huge new update that, among other things, includes the beefy new Heroes & Heralds mode. Choose a faction, battle for Ability Cards and customize your team in any way you like. If you thought UMvC3 matches were nuts before... wait until everyone's parrying moves and disappearing at will...

This mode is completely free and functions as an online update to the existing Ultimate MvC3 game. If you're worried about Ability Cards breaking the game, fear not - Heroes & Heralds exists independently of the usual Ranked matchmaking area, so you can plainly choose which style of MvC3 you want to play.
